LIFE – the most amazing, precious and unique opportunity granted to us to be at joy and peace. To discover ourselves. To know who we are. The journey to self discovery is timeless. But, most often than not, as we near the age-old crisis of coming to a conclusion of knowing our true selves, the dynamics change. An unexpected turn of events alters our course. And eventually, who we thought we were all along, changes! As we come to the realisation that no matter how long this life endures, how many experiences we live through, how many teeth we lose or how many wrinkles we develop, we may never really be able to answer this one simple question…
Who are we?
I assume it’s because the answer is never the same. It changes. Like seasons- inevitably, subtly, constantly. For who you are today may not be the same person you were yesterday or shall be tomorrow.
But of the infinite possibilities, I think it is important to strike off who you are not or who you don’t particularly want to become. The rest will eventually fall into place. Maybe because you find out who you are by figuring out who and what you are not.
It’s daring to be curious about the unknown, to dream big dreams, to live outside prescribed boxes, to take risks, and above all, daring to investigate the way we live until we discover the deepest treasured purpose of why we are here.
