Prepare a cup of green tea as you regularly would, by boiling some water on the flame and then dipping the green tea bag in it. You may drink the tea if you please, but I’d suggest you to save it for later.

Next, cut open the used green tea bag and remove the leaves therein in a bowl. Squeeze in a few drops of lemon and add about a spoonful of honey and some sugar to the mixture. Stir this mixture well and it shall come to a rather sticky consistency. There you go, your face scrub is ready in no time.

Now apply this scrub to your face and neck, leaving the area around your eyes. Let it dry and leave it on for about 15 minutes.
Then dampen your hands with a little green tea you had saved earlier and start scrubbing your face in circular motions for about 2-5 minutes. Wash off your face with the remaining green tea instead of using water.

    1. In my opinion, normal sugar should be used only when you can’t get your hands on brown sugar. Reason being, sugar is harder and is more harsh on your skin than brown sugar which might cause excessive stripping down of your natural oils, making you break out even more.
