My Little Denim Dress

Hey there!

Denim has been all the rage lately and I can’t stop obsessing over it. From tops, crop tops, jackets, skirts, shorts, dresses, overalls, shoes, bags and what not, to the good old pair of jeans – denim is everywhere. In so many washes, textures and lighter fabrics like chambray, it has become so much easier to get versatile and staple pieces into your wardrobe and style them effortlessly to your taste and mood.

When it comes to personal style, I am constantly on the lookout for edgy pieces that don’t compromise on comfort. I am a cent percent Team Comfort because I believe that you can look your best only if you are comfortable and confident in your skin.

So, I decided why not merge the two – style and comfort, and get the perfect denim dress that I could literally live in, all my life (just kidding). But yeah, this little denim dress I brought from Vero Moda is the perfect blend of all things fashion and yet is pretty casual and perfect for summers. It is slowly becoming one of my favourite pieces and ever so effortlessly.

I love the zipper closure detailing in the front, and the fact that it has a collar, makes it a perfect day-time dress. The cut around the armhole is quite interesting as well. Not to forget, I fell in love with the frayed hem detailing in the dress which makes it so different from a simple denim dress.

I wore it for a day out running errands and styled it with the sneakers from New Look that I ordered from Koovs Sale. I carried my thrifted backpack from Colaba Causeway that is black and has silver studs all over. I really like the whole casual vibe of the outfit and can’t believe how fuss-free it was to wear.

Have a look at some of the pictures –

I hope you like the look I put together. If you have any suggestions, don’t forget to leave them in the comments down below. Like, share and spread the love 🙂
