The Tangerine Tale

Hey there,

I’ve always had a love – hate kind of relationship with the colour Orange. And thus, I’ve actually been quite sceptical about uploading this article for a very long time. But then, I thought to myself that I need to learn to move on and get sh*t done.

Therefore, after almost an infinity of waiting and very unreasonable contemplating, in a moment of impulsive decision, I bring to you my Tangerine Tale.

The colour orange has always attracted me because of its bold and vibrant nature. However, although being a lover of bright hues, I’ve always shyed away from incorporating a lot of orange in my outfit for reasons unknown. I won’t deny buying items that are different shades of orange, but hoarding them being my sole purpose. Rarely ever would I willingly pull out a vibrant coral or a bright tangerine and wear it as my outfit for the day (or night for that matter).

However, for creating this look, I was pleasantly drawn towards this vibrant bell-sleeved orange top that I picked up from Koovs, but never dared to wear. But, I’m glad I did, because surprisingly enough, I’d like to admit that it is turning out to be one of my favourite tops ever.

Like always, I took the minimalistic route for my styling and wore a pair of black ripped shorts from Shein. I slipped into my most comfortable pair of shoes from Forever 21, that has been used and abused for years. And lastly, I put on a pair of orange reflective wayfarers from Knockaround.

So, there you have it. The Tangerine Tale. Let me know your views/suggestions in the comments section down below. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook.

Until next time,

The Tale of Black and Pink

Hey there,

As girls, we are more often than not attracted to the various different shades of pinks and blacks. Somehow, these colours always look so flattering and beautiful on everyone irrespective of the various skin tones, sizes or ages that we may be. Whether “girly” by nature or not, we always tend to be a bit more biased towards pinks and blacks over the other colours. And why not, when even the simplest of simple silhouettes look ravishing in these gorgeous hues.

For this post, I have styled one such outfit that is actually very simple and laid back, but it looks like a lot of effort and thought went into putting it together. It’s easy yet looks well thought out. It’s casual and comfortable and can be pulled off by anyone with elegance and grace.

I have paired a black long front-slit top along with a pink maxi skirt to create this effortless and subtly dramatic look. Since the top and the skirt are both long and flowy, pairing them together looked magical. This outfit gave me those princess-like vibes, without being too over the top. I loved wearing it for the shoot and can’t wait to wear it again anytime soon. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed creating this post for you.

Welcoming Summers!

It’s official!
Winters are over and it’s time to bid them adieu. While a part of me still wants to cuddle up under a cozy blanket sipping from a yummy cup of hot chocolate, there’s this other side to me that loves the beginning of summers. Sure, nobody’s a fan of the crazy summers that literally melt you down.

But, I love the commencement of the Spring time when the nature is in its full glory. Everything is so colourful and perfect. The weather is just right and I actually want to get my lazy ass off of the bed and bask in the sun. I love welcoming summers. (Although we don’t get along too well soon after that)

Another thing I like about the warmer days is the summer clothing. I like the bright happy colours, the whites, the flowy silhouettes and the cute summer dresses. I love summer dressing.

For this look, I’ve put together a look that, in my opinion, is perfect for welcoming the summers. It’s a cute white  laced summer dress. I have kept the styling very minimal and paired it with a pair of golden shoes and retro looking sunglasses. Have a look at the picture and let me know your views in the comment section down below.
